Liza is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and freelance editor specializing in character-driven storytelling. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University for Anthropology and Film Production and afterwards, spent several years producing impact-oriented content in the South before moving back to Maryland.
As an editor and producer at SideXSide Studios, she worked on projects for international non-profits, fortune 500 companies and on original short and feature length documentary films. She has created video work for a variety of formats and platforms including web, broadcast, live events, and museum installations.
As a collaborator, Liza’s main priority is to create a positive, energized, and respectful environment where ideas can be shared, challenged, and shaped into the best possible product. She is experienced in every phase of the production process and can fill many roles, however her biggest passion lies in the edit room.
Liza is based in Baltimore, Maryland and is available to collaborate on productions worldwide.
